The Project Engineer will provide technical, quality control, and administrative support to Superintendents and Project Managers on the construction project site. They will ensure that all work follows specified approved work plans and submittals. The Project Engineer will perform field quality control tests and manage quality control and production records. They will work with project specifications, drawings, and documentation. This individual will assist in ordering materials, purchase orders, and inventory. The field crews will perform water testing, load testing, pilot tests, and water tightness tests. The project includes a 2,000 foot grout curtain structure in Sault Ste. Marie to mitigate water infiltration. The Project Engineer will work on-site in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan and will have lodging provided, receive a $60/day per diem, and travel home for an extended weekend every two weeks. They will receive IRS rate for travel home or covered flights.
