Project Engineer
The Project Engineer plays a critical role in supporting project execution from start to finish. This position offers hands-on experience in managing construction projects, client relationships, and operational excellence, serving as a stepping stone toward a Project Manager role. The project engineer will be onsite full-time and will receive a daily per diem in addition to their salary. Effective organization within a fast-paced job site is crucial for success in this role. Upon completion of the project, relocation to another job site or working out of the St. Louis, MO office will be required.
Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects from inception to completion.
- Support client relationships and operational excellence.
- Coordinate project activities, including estimation and change orders.
- Review plans and specifications.
- Monitor production and track costs.
- Provide field support and manage changes.
- Ensure effective communication and responsiveness at all levels.
- Prioritize safe work environments for all employees.
- Take pride in people and equipment.
- Own actions and decisions, seeking solutions rather than problems.
- Contribute positively to the team with a positive attitude and energy.
Essential Skills
- Experience in construction management and project engineering.
- Proficiency in design and document control.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam, AgTek, Vista, and HCSS software.
- Competence in project coordination and estimation.
- Ability to manage RFIs and commercial construction tasks.
- Understanding of civil engineering and blueprint reading.
- Skilled in site development and project coordination.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Vista for reporting.
Work Environment
This role is onsite in Haskell, requiring full-time presence. The work environment is fast-paced and involves hands-on involvement in construction projects. A daily per diem is provided. Upon project completion, relocation to another job site or working from the St. Louis, MO office will be necessary.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $70000.00/yr. Health Dental Vision PTO 401K
