Program Quality Engineer
This role involves creating quality planning to manage both customer and internal quality requirements for program teams and the supply base. Responsibilities include First Article Inspection (FAI) planning, and ensuring Quality Engineering engagement in program development, design, test requirements, and verification. The position requires onsite support for hardware review and non-conforming material disposition, specifically supporting classified programs which necessitate a Secret clearance.
Responsibilities include:
- Administer customer and internal quality requirements to program teams and supply base.
- Plan and execute First Article Inspections (FAI).
- Engage in program development, design, test requirements, and verification.
- Provide onsite support for hardware review and non-conforming material disposition.
- Support classified programs, requiring a Secret clearance.
- Complete discrete tasks such as FAI planning and execution.
- Provide matrix feedback from the Integrated Product Team regarding Quality requirements.
- Offer factory support for process reviews, customer source inspection, and non-conforming material disposition.
Essential Skills include:
- Minimum of 5 years of Quality Engineering or Operations experience.
- Working knowledge of engineering development, material acquisition, production, test, and product acceptance.
- BS degree in a STEM field.
- Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI).
Additional Skills & Qualifications include:
- Experience in the infrared industry, semiconductor processing, or DoD industry.
- Experience working with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is preferred.

This is a Contract position based out of Goleta, California.
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
