The Production Engineer will work in a manufacturing setting, collaborating with production and quality teams to ensure machines and manufacturing equipment operate efficiently. With a focus on continuous improvement, the engineer will identify and troubleshoot issues, particularly on mold lines, oven lines, and air transport systems for sand. This role is in a smaller plant, with about 50-60 employees, offering opportunities to take on additional responsibilities over time.

Work Environment
This position is at a leading tier two supplier of sand cores for the automotive industry. The work environment includes manufacturing cores for castings of brake rotors and water passages. The typical work schedule is four 10-hour shifts, with occasional work on Fridays as needed. Candidates should be comfortable with flexible hours to meet production demands.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00/hr.
