Product Marketing Specialist II

As our Product Marketing Specialist II, you'll function as the Product Marketing Lead for our Preclinical business unit (and may also support our CRO services pending your background experience), owning BU-level go-to-market (GTM) plans, messaging, and sales enablement that accelerate pipeline and revenue.

What you'll do:

  • Own BU GTM: Build and execute a 6-month rolling marketing roadmap for the Preclinical BU; aligning with corporate and BU goals by collaborating with BU leadership and SVP Marketing using an agile workstream model.
  • Positioning & messaging: Translate customer problems and our capabilities into crisp value propositions, solution narratives, and competitive positioning for preclinical/CRO audiences.
  • Campaigns & content: Drive BU initiatives across landing pages, website updates, email nurtures, webinars, brochures, case studies, conference engagement, and ads. These would involve taking projects from focused intake with a detailed brief through review and publication.
  • Sales enablement: Create, maintain, and promote use of materials to assist sales conversations based on feedback from business development and SMEs, overall coverage of current materials, and applicable audiences. These will include assets like: battlecards, one-pagers, pitch or capability deck updates, case studies, objection handling, and talk tracks; partner with Sales/BD to drive adoption.
  • Market & competitive intelligence: Produce competitor briefs and market updates for the BU.
  • Win-loss analysis: Own BU-level win/loss capture, analysis, and storytelling; recommend actions to optimize GTM and enablement. (Customer interviews may be conducted in partnership with the SVP.)
  • Performance, reporting & iteration: Set goals in alignment with SVP of marketing, track results, and iterate; communicate performance and learnings for the BU.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Collaborate with team for shared resources (designer, writer, creative lead, lead-gen specialist), with ultimately owning and managing timelines for BU related deliverables and ensuring quality with brand and BU messaging alignment.

What success looks like (KPIs):

  • Growth in pipeline influenced by BU marketing initiatives.
  • MQL → SQL conversion rate improvement for BU programs.
  • Sales enablement adoption and usage of assets in active opportunities.
  • Web traffic & engagement to BU/service-line pages and content.
  • Webinar/email performance (registration → attendance, CTR/CVR) for BU campaigns.

How we work:

  • Agile, BU-VRX model: You're the embedded Product Marketer for Preclinical, prioritizing BU outcomes while leveraging shared marketing resources for scale and craft.
  • Cross-functional partnership: Work closely with BU leaders, BD/Sales, Scientific/Operational SMEs other Product Marketers, Creative, and the SVP Marketing.
