The purpose of this role is to oversee and manage the work of the processing function, focusing on improving cycle efficiency while balancing cost savings and efficiency drivers to maximize profitability and meet customer expectations. This role is also accountable for leading a team of process engineers and/or process technicians.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the processing function to improve cycle efficiency.
• Balance cost savings with efficiency drivers to maximize profitability.
• Lead a team of process engineers and/or process technicians.
• Set up mold processes for 1000T-4000T IMM.
• Optimize mold processes for 1000T-4000T IMM to achieve optimum cycle time and efficiency.
• Work with HDPE and PP resins for processing.
• Collaborate with different production groups to build strong relationships.

• Technical aptitude in mechanical systems, tooling, and plastic manufacturing processes

• Formal RJG injection molding experience
• Krauss experience
• Sepro and 6-axis robot experience
• A3 problem solving method
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Work Environment

The work environment is a large-scale, high-output manufacturing plant spanning over 300,000 square feet, designed for high-volume plastic production primarily using injection molding technology. The facility supports industries such as waste management, beverage, agriculture, and supply chain logistics. It houses 12+ injection molding machines, producing large and complex plastic components, with advanced robotics integration including single and dual-system robots for part handling and automation, and 3-axis and 6-axis robots for precision tasks, material movement, and quality control. The environment fosters a tight-knit community with a family-type atmosphere and a positive culture. There are regular team bonding activities like happy hours and outings to keep morale high.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Goodyear, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
