Process Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer with a strong background in ISO 9001 standards, mechanical inclination, and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in implementing and managing LEAN methodologies, including 8D, 8 Waste, Time Studies, 5S, One Piece Flow, Kaizen, and developing standards and process flow diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procedures for pulling and labeling materials.
• Oversee the process of unit building and the assembly of components.
• Create and maintain packaging standards and ensure labeling compliance.
• Enhance process flow and workflow documentation.
• Write detailed work instructions and process flow diagrams.

Essential Skills

• Experience with ISO 9001 standards.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in LEAN methodologies such as 8D, 8 Waste, Time Studies, 5S, One Piece Flow, and Kaizen.
• Ability to create and document process flows and workflows.
• Strong skills in documentation writing and work instruction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of the fabrication of components, cables, and wiring.

Work Environment

This role is primarily based in an assembly manufacturing environment, with occasional travel up to 20% of the time. The position involves working with various manufacturing technologies and requires adherence to safety and quality standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.08/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
