Join a dynamic team as a Process Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in programming and validating AOI and SPI systems for SMT processes. This position offers the opportunity to support new product introductions and collaborate with various teams to ensure efficient SMT line operations.
Program and validate AOI and SPI systems for SMT processes.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including first article inspections and BOM verification.
Collaborate with engineering technicians and production teams to ensure smooth SMT line operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (4-year degree required).
Minimum 1 year of experience in SMT or AOI systems.
Strong understanding of IPC-610 standards (Class 2/3).
Hands-on experience with SMT line operations and AOI programming.
Ability to verify BOMs and load machine programming files.
Experience with Kojung AOI systems.
Exposure to commercial and medical-grade manufacturing environments.
Engineering-level understanding of processes and equipment.
Work with state-of-the-art equipment including Kojung AOI Machines, Ekra Solder Printer, Fuji Pick & Place, and Heller Reflow Furnace. The file formats used are Centroids and ODB++. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California.
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $80000.00/hr.
