Process Engineer is responsible for line improvements, documentation such as PFMEA, control plans, and work instructions. Communicate with production teams and maintenance to ensure lines are running efficiently. Train team members in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), problem solving, CI techniques (Ex: 5S, TPM, SMED) and ensure regular audits for the maintenance of such procedures. Also responsible for training supervisors and team members on equipment issues and processes. Will run line containing 8-10 team members. Hours are M-F 6:30 am - 2:30 pm.
Bachelors in Engineering preferred (Ceramics, Mechanical, Industrial, Material Science). Problem solving skills. Glass manufacturing experience preferred.
