Actalent is hiring a Process Engineer to support a major automotive manufacturing OEM. Design processes for safe and efficient assembly for the responsible area. Use analytic tools and traditional industrial engineering methods to optimize production functions. Use MOST to develop balanced processes across manufacturing areas. Work to achieve maximum process efficiency. Apply Lean Manufacturing techniques. Design processes that are simple and achieve SQCDM targets. Perform time estimates for process line work. Maintain accurate Autocad department layout. Read Parts drawings, Spec Notes & 3D CATIA data. Create charts and presentations to report status and plans for key department metrics.

Manufacturing process, equipment installation, Assembly, Manufacturing engineering, Lean manufacturing, process improvement.

The work will include: Document development - Standardized Templates. Data Loading (PDDA). Development of efficient manufacturing processes. Data Auditing. Equipment/Process time studies. Plant safety evaluation and implementation. Maintain AutoCAD layouts. Software's used for both Profiles: o Catia (V6 & V5) – Offshore through Honda VPN access for PLM o AutoCAD o Reporting – MS Office tools o PDDA – Process data development analysis o M.O.S.T

Intermediate Level.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
