The candidate will be responsible for processing data compilations and report generation for a petroleum pilot plant. Engineer will compile and build reports for petroleum pilot plant runs. Work with operators to generate product blends. Will utilize MS Office to generate reports and design in Autoplant/CAD. Support project by executing chemical and petroleum lab scale experiments. Buildup of the test equipment, compile and report test data. Mechanical aptitude is a must.
The candidate will be involved with the operation of a chemical pilot plant, to include troubleshooting, installation of equipment, maintenance (turnaround), assist with safety procedures and operating instructions, prepare samples, and cleanup of plant. Day to day work will involve work with pumps, heat trace, high temperature oils, drum heaters, and chemicals. Will also lead operators on shifts.

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Petroleum-related degree.
Must be able to multi-task with the ability to complete thermo calculations while also being mechanically inclined to build process systems.
Experience with P&ID and BOM is preferred.
Familiar with Autocad, Autoplant, Solidworks, Viso, and MS Office.
Shift work required- must be flexible.
Must be mechanically inclined and willing to do hands on work.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00/hr.
