Principal Electrical Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer with strong design capabilities and foundational analog experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in embedded system development, schematic and PCB design, and system-level troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design systems with a focus on digital design and foundational analog integration.
- Create schematic designs and PCB layouts using schematic design tools.
- Conduct system-level troubleshooting and resolve issues down to the component level.
- Utilize logic analyzers and oscilloscopes for analysis and testing.
- Engage in design reviews and contribute to the development from concept to prototype.
- Enhance and build upon previous designs, depending on experience with FPGA and embedded C.
Essential Skills
- Proficient in electrical engineering and electrical design.
- Knowledge of digital circuits and digital design, particularly with STM32 microcontrollers.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and prototype development.
- Familiarity with Altium Designer and schematic design tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot systems to the component level and conduct design reviews.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in medical device development is a nice-to-have but not required.
Work Environment
The position is based in Santa Clara and requires on-site work from Monday to Friday with flexible start times between 7am and 9am based on business needs. The role involves an 8-hour shift in a state-of-the-art facility.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $69.00 - $79.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
