Plumbing Engineer

We are seeking a talented Plumbing Engineer to join our team and lead the plumbing design and project management for various commercial and residential developments. This role is perfect for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being the primary contact for projects, and can confidently manage calls and meetings. You will work alongside a small but skilled team and will handle essential plumbing design tasks, including riser diagrams and coordination with other disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing design efforts for assigned projects.
• Act as the point of contact for plumbing-related coordination and meetings.
• Manage design timelines and deliverables.
• Cover project calls and client meetings as needed.
• Produce riser diagrams and plumbing layouts using Revit.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants.
• Ensure punctuality and accountability in daily tasks.

Essential Skills

• 5–7 years of plumbing design experience.
• EIT certification required; PE license is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with commercial and multifamily building types.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable and punctual; able to work independently and collaboratively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Licensed Engineer PE (Plumbing) is a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, design, HVAC, and BIM.
• Experience in plumbing/fire protection and mechanical engineering.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with remote work available on Wednesdays. You will be working in a collaborative environment on diverse projects, including multi-family and hospitality projects.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $49.00/hr.
