As a Plastics Engineer, you will lead all aspects of the plastic component lifecycle, from initial concept through design, testing, and production within an active manufacturing environment. This pivotal role involves prototyping, testing, analysis, and managing the entire product realization process. You will be responsible for the design of precision plastic and elastomeric parts, injection molds, and transfer molds, ensuring exacting workmanship standards for dimensionally accurate, repeatable, and flash-free parts. Additionally, you will engage in extensive cross-functional collaboration with management, engineering, mold makers, operators, and vendors to continuously improve parts, tooling, and processes.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr. • You would be enrolled in the company's Century Preferred Medical/Dental plan with Anthem BCBS on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment. The plan is free for employees for family coverage, there is no deductible for in-network medical, and office visits have a $30 copay. • profit sharing plan (PSP) following 18 months of employment. While the profit sharing plan offers no guaranteed distribution, in the past five years it has distributed annually between 22-28 % of base salary. Of that 20% is distributed in cash, and 80% goes into your PSP held by Principal. • You accrue vacation at three weeks per year initially growing to four weeks in year 12, and five in year 22, and vacation can be accumulated year to year if not used. There are nine holidays and six additional sick/personal days. • The company also provides life insurance, AD&D coverage, short and long term disability; all at no cost to the employee. • The company also will reimburse you for tuition for approved college courses related to your current or potential future job.
