Responsibilities
Develop, test, document, and transfer medical plastic disposable products to manufacturing.
Continuously improve manufacturing methods at contract manufacturers and suppliers.
Develop tooling, fixturing, assembly methods, and test methods for new and existing products.
Ensure that processes, tools, and materials meet product requirements.
Collaborate with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and operations to address component obsolescence and material changes.
Work with Quality, Regulatory, Operations, and Customer Service to analyze customer problems and implement corrective actions.
Essential Skills
Experience in developing and/or manufacturing medical plastic disposable products.
In-depth knowledge of plastic fabrication and assembly methods, including injection molding, adhesive bonding, and ultrasonic welding.
Detailed knowledge of plastic materials and properties.
Experience in an ISO- and/or FDA GMP regulated environment.
Proficiency in 3D CAD software, with SolidWorks preferred.
Demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving techniques effectively.

This is a permanent position based out of Wood Dale, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $155000.00/yr. will be provided by client.

This is a fully onsite position in Wood Dale, IL.
