Mechanical Process Engineer in Ottawa

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support a semi-automated manufacturing environment through the design and development of custom tools, fixtures, and manufacturing processes. This role will play a key part in improving manufacturability, efficiency, and product quality across production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop production tools, fixtures, and mechanical assemblies to support semi-automated manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to define process requirements and tooling needs
• Support process development, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Create and maintain engineering documentation (drawings, BOMs, work instructions)
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to tooling, fixtures, and mechanical processes
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, and optimization on the production floor
