Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to perform application tasks such as creating drawings, schematics, weight studies, and bills of materials (BOMs), and other technical documents. The role involves identifying when engineering support is necessary and obtaining that support to ensure quality products. You will also create electrical and hydraulic schematics to interface company-built equipment with OEM-supplied chassis, analyze customer technical requirements, and coordinate across departments to determine the most appropriate solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform application work including creating drawings, schematics, weight studies, and BOMs.
• Identify and obtain necessary engineering support to ensure product quality.
• Create electrical and hydraulic schematics for interfacing equipment with OEM chassis.
• Analyze customer technical requirements and coordinate with departments to find solutions.
• Present design solutions to customers.
• Communicate customer requirements and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Provide product support utilizing other technical personnel as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills:

• Mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Experience with bill of materials.
• Design for production experience.
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Entry-level candidates must have internship experience with bill of materials.
• Experience with SolidWorks or another similar 3D software program.
• Personable with the ability to work well in a team environment.

Job Type & Location:

This is a full-time permanent position that is 100% remote.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr.
