Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing innovative heating, ventilation, and cooling systems, along with plumbing systems, ensuring energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This role requires collaboration with other disciplines to achieve successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Design heating-ventilation-cooling systems and plumbing systems.
- Perform load calculations, life cycle costing, and energy modeling.
- Coordinate with other disciplines and work in a team environment.
- Review installation of designed equipment/systems for compliance with construction documents.
- Manage multiple projects within established schedules.
- Work on a wide variety of project types, scales, and complexity.
- Handle concurrent projects effectively.
- Prepare both broad and detailed construction cost estimates.
- Assist in developing contract specifications and researching new procedures and products.
- Perform all work safely and responsibly according to the Health and Safety Plan.
- Act as a positive representative of the company and uphold its core values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in Revit and HVAC design.
- 4+ years of Mechanical Design experience.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and client relationship skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Strong work ethic and solid organizational skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with MEP design.

Job Type & Location:
This is a contract to hire position based out of Raytown, MO.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
