Equipment Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on Application Engineer to join our growing team. This role is 100% floor-based, focused on troubleshooting equipment, solving complex mechanical and electrical issues, and integrating systems in a fast-paced industrial environment. You won't have an office—you'll be where the action is, working directly with equipment and cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical equipment issues
• Interpret and work from schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Integrate and optimize equipment including VFDs, motors, gearboxes, and servo systems
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on new product development and equipment upgrades
• Apply hands-on expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electromechanical systems
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes

Qualifications

• Preferred: Associate's degree (AA) in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of on-the-job troubleshooting experience
• Minimum 3 years of electrical engineering experience
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings

Work Environment

• Location Phoenix AZ
• Manufacturing floor (100%)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• PPE Required: Hard hats, safety glasses, boots, industrial attire
• Physical demands: High, especially in summer heat

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $89000.00/yr.
