Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design. Candidates ideally have EIT or PE. Ideal backgrounds include Aerospace, High Tech, Data Centers, Higher Education, Industrial, or Healthcare facilities—but we're open to strong experience in commercial or industrial construction, including power or manufacturing environments.
Preferred technical skills include Revit, CAD, and Bluebeam.
Project Types:
You'll work across a broad range of markets, including:
- Healthcare
- Higher Education
- Government
- Science & Technology (Ball, Lockheed, SNC, etc.)
- Commercial
Why You Should Be Interested:
Work You Won't See Anywhere Else
- This team works on some of the most unique and advanced engineering projects in the country—far beyond typical "cookie cutter" design work. They recently completed one of the largest facilities for Lockheed Martin and regularly support environmental chambers, launch test facilities, and advanced manufacturing environments.
- This is the kind of place where you'll ask questions like, "Is this clean room big enough to fit a shuttle?" You'll work on projects many engineers only see once in their entire career.
Growth & Career Path
- Driven leadership with room for upward mobility
- Because of the smaller, high‑performing team environment, there's significant opportunity to shape your own path
- Whether you want to grow into a PM/Sr. PM role or remain purely on the technical/design track, both paths are fully supported
- Becoming a principal is a real possibility for those who want it
Qualifications:
- EIT or PE required
- 3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection)
- Experience with any of the following is a plus: Aerospace, High Tech, Data Centers, Higher Education, Industrial, Healthcare
- Revit, CAD, and Bluebeam preferred
- Strong teamwork, communication, and accountability skills—culture fit is extremely important
Work Environment:
- This company is based in Littleton, CO. They offer a hybrid schedule.
Team Structure:
- 4 principals in the office
- Office size: ~30 employees (8 electrical; the rest mechanical/plumbing)
- The environment is very "family feel"—everyone knows each other, collaborates closely, and works toward shared success
Culture:
This is a high‑performing, team‑oriented environment with a strong emphasis on accountability, proactiveness, and positivity. Specifically:
- They help each other out—if someone needs to leave for an appointment or is sick, the team covers and communicates
- They hire slowly to ensure the best culture fit
- Expectations are high: It's not a large firm where people can hide—everyone contributes
- They value people who communicate well, collaborate, and enjoy being part of a team (not someone who isolates in their office)
- Strong references around culture and personality will be required—these traits matter deeply to the team
