Mechanical Engineer

An opportunity awaits for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a Professional Engineer License to join our dynamic design team. The role involves working on high-profile construction projects, including data centers, industrial buildings, and offices. This position emphasizes collaboration with internal staff, clients, vendors, and various external disciplines. Occasional travel to job sites for site observations and client meetings is required.

Responsibilities:

• Independently drive projects forward throughout design and construction phases.
• Design mechanical and plumbing systems for data centers.
• Oversee the production of all mechanical designs, systems, and drawings.
• Collaborate with a cross-discipline design team, owners, and contractors to develop drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with external vendors, internal design teams, and manufacturers.
• Select and schedule major equipment.

Essential Skills:

• Experience with Mechanical, HVAC, and MEP systems, specifically HVAC and liquid cooling.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience with mission critical projects.
• Design skills in plumbing, piping, and engineering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
• EIT required, PE preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with mission critical projects such as advanced manufacturing, data centers, semiconductor, or healthcare.
• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam.
• Experience designing HVAC systems, liquid cooling design, plumbing, and piping.
• LEED AP BD+C is a nice-to-have.

Work Environment:

Employees can work 100% remotely unless local to Phoenix, AZ or Austin, TX, where a hybrid work schedule is available. The brand new office in AZ, located on Tempe Town Lake, offers a hotel-like feel. We are approved to place individuals in several states including AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IN, MI, MO, NV, OK, SC, TX, WA, WV, and UT. Candidates from NY, CA, CO, NJ, and WY will need to be willing to relocate to be considered. Job Type & Location:

This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/yr. 100% premiums paid for medical, dental, vision for employee + family 4% 401(k) match 32 days off - holiday, PTO, and sick time annual professional development budgets for licensure and certifications
