This position involves creating complete 2D drawings based on OEM provided data, developing simple to moderately complex 3D models using SolidWorks, managing engineering data including drawings and specifications, and submitting PMA packages to the FAA. The role also includes creating 2D operation sheets based on data from Manufacturing Engineers and performing other engineering tasks as required.
The role is based in a clean shop environment with painted floors, providing a good work-life balance. The candidate will work behind a desk for design work and putting together CAD packages, as well as visiting the manufacturing floor to collaborate with manufacturing engineers. The work schedule is 7-4:30 pm from Monday to Thursday, and 7-11 am on Fridays. The team includes 2 Mechanical Engineers, and the position reports to the Director of Engineering. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sun Valley, California.
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $33.65/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
