Design and develop mechanical layouts and assemblies for switchgear, switchboards, and related systems.
Create and revise detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Inventor or equivalent 3D CAD software and AutoCAD 2D.
Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure seamless mechanical and electrical integration of components.
Provide hands-on factory floor support to resolve design, fit, or assembly issues during production.
Participate in research and development projects, contributing to innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, customer specifications, and manufacturing capabilities.
Troubleshoot design and fabrication challenges with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Maintain accurate documentation and revision control for all design files and drawings.
Manage time effectively to meet project schedules and deadlines for customer approval drawings, BOM release, and production support.
Communicate effectively across departments to support smooth project execution and timely delivery.

Pay and benefits:
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
