Candidate will be supporting mechanical engineering to sustain current product lines of heavy equipment.
Will be performing mechanical design on heavy equipment that services the construction, warehouse, and utilities industries.
Will be primarily working within CREO for all design work.
Partnering with cross functional engineering and technician employees to troubleshoot issues that may arise through the design and prototyping phase.
Managing key design projects from concept to completion.
Will be focused on the design of heavy lifting equipment including telehandlers, scissor lifts, bucket lifts, and other similar equipment.
Will be managing and splitting focus between 5-10 design projects at once, based on urgency and customer needs.
Will be supporting sustaining engineering, no focus on new product development.
This is a hands on design role, will be involved in prototyping and testing designs for current product lines.
Will drive over to the testing facility (local) for testing and prototyping functions that cannot be done in the office building.
Candidate may monitor the operation of a current piece of equipment to try to re-create fail scenarios to make product improvements.
Must Have
1. BSME, BSMET or related engineering degree
2. Experienced within 3D modeling for mechanical design (solid works, inventor, AutoCAD, CREO is PREFERRED)
3. Basic project management experience including effective communication to cross functional engineering disciplines
4. 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience AFTER DEGREE (co-ops/internships do not count) 2 years is a HARD requirement
5. Proven hands on mechanical aptitude

Experience designing within CREO
Experience designing heavy equipment or machinery
Experience with GD&T
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $42.00/hr.
