Materials Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Materials Engineer to join our team in Spring Hill, TN. This role involves designing and laying out materials for strategic flows and collaborating with Industrial Engineers to optimize production line material flows. This role pays 1.5x pay for any OT worked.

Responsibilities:

• Design and layout materials for strategic flows.
• Collaborate with Industrial Engineers to optimize production line material flows.
• Create and review CAD drawings with Industrial Engineers.
• Utilize software to analyze worker utilization and prevent overutilization.
• Design and implement sequence cells.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles.

Qualifications:

• High proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Experience in the design and layout of materials.
• Previous experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Engineering Degree related to Industrial Engineering.
• Experience with sequence cells.
• Experience with Automation, AGVs, or AMRs is a plus.

Work Environment:

This position is fully on-site in Spring Hill, TN, operating Monday through Friday on the 1st shift. The work environment is a temperature-controlled automotive manufacturing facility.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
