Manufacturing Engineering Planner

Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Engineering Planner, where you will be instrumental in engineering and production planning. This role involves working in person to ensure parts are built correctly and efficiently. You will be responsible for writing and updating manufacturing instructions, organizing technical documents, creating inspection plans, preparing paperwork to meet AS standards, and assisting in the design of tools and machine programs using software such as Mastercam.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient and correct construction of parts.
• Write and update manufacturing instructions.
• Check and organize technical documents.
• Create inspection plans and tools.
• Prepare paperwork to meet AS standards.
• Assist in designing tools and machine programs using Mastercam.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in manufacturing engineering and engineering principles.
• Experience with CAD software and blueprint reading.
• 2+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer.
• Ability to read both 2D and 3D drawings.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (such as E2, though not required).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• A degree is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with AS standards.
• Nice to have experience using ERP/MRP systems like E2.
• Strong ability to review and read technical drawings.

Work Environment

This role is within a small, tight-knit company that offers a family-like environment. Employees work closely together, and the company values quick decision-making in a fast-paced setting. The work schedule is flexible, with options from Monday to Friday: Shift A is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, and Shift B is from 9 AM to 5:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
