We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead quoting efforts for new aerospace components and assemblies. This role involves creating accurate estimates for labor, material, tooling, and cycle times, as well as developing efficient manufacturing processes.
Lead quoting efforts for new aerospace components and assemblies, including labor, material, tooling, and cycle time estimates.
Develop efficient and cost-effective machining and manufacturing processes based on customer prints, models, and technical specifications.
Leverage hands-on knowledge of CNC machining, programming, and setup to validate manufacturability and ensure accurate quoting for complex milled and turned parts.
Provide or support quoting efforts for welded assemblies, working with fabrication or weld engineers to evaluate weld processes, joint design, and weld certifications.
Support Sales and Program Management in technical discussions with aerospace customers related to capabilities, lead times, and cost structure.
Project management skills.
Experience in quoting within a CNC environment.
Hands-on expertise in CNC machining, programming, and setup.
5+ years of relevant experience.
Ideally, a BS in Engineering.
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $92500.00/yr.
