Manufacturing Engineer

This position involves providing day-to-day line support and training across various areas of manufacturing. The role includes supporting process validations, which involve wireless gaging and wrenches, as well as managing capital projects related to newly purchased tooling. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for directing the assignment of these tools to lines and replicating their usage. Additionally, the role involves setting up control plans and working on process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily line support and training across all manufacturing areas.
• Support process validations involving wireless gaging and wrenches.
• Manage capital projects and oversee the implementation of new tooling.
• Direct the assignment and replication of tools to manufacturing lines.
• Set up and manage control plans.
• Work through PFMEA documents to identify and mitigate risks.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Open to anyone with engineering experience.

Work Environment:

The work environment involves hands-on engagement with manufacturing processes and tools. The role may require setting up and managing equipment, as well as working with bar code readers. The position is integral to ongoing improvements and the enhancement of manufacturing efficiency.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract position based out of East Peoria, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
