We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of 6S and Lean Manufacturing principles, coupled with advanced technical skills to drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage continuous improvement projects to enhance production efficiency.
• Develop and maintain work instructions and documentation to ensure smooth operations.
• Hold production teams accountable to ensure processes are maintained and improved.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the manufacturing process.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance team capabilities.

Essential Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of 6S and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with CREO CAD systems or equivalent 3D CAD software.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Proficient in advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and AutoCAD.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in project management and leading improvement projects.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, MN.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
