Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Focus on plant processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing and maintenance methods.
• Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow.
• Collaborate with all plant departments and corporate offices.
• Coordinate with vendors involved in plant projects.
• Investigate downtime issues within the plant.
• Confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing.
• Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements.
• Perform related duties as assigned or as situations dictate.
• Promote and engage in continuous improvement activities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 4-5 years in a manufacturing environment with related products
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent working knowledge of computers, machining and assembly practices, tools, and fixtures
• Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical controls, pneumatic, and robotic systems
• Experience with PLC, HMI, and Robot programming is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
