Manufacturing Engineer
The Manufacturing Engineer I is responsible for reviewing, identifying, and implementing design safeguards concerning the electrical aspects of products. The role involves developing engineering solutions for electrical and electronic enclosures to reduce material and labor costs while supporting manufacturability, safety, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations and support management in enforcing the same.
- Assist manufacturing and quality teams in implementing solutions to process and production issues.
- Assist with the development, programming, and testing of assembly methods for efficient production and process improvements.
- Review, document, and update electrical PCBAs and components, with modifications and assemblies using best-known electrical schematics and software.
- Validate engineering solutions using analysis, simulation, and hands-on testing.
- Analyze existing production build processes to identify opportunities to streamline assembly steps, reduce labor time, and improve overall manufacturing workflow.
- Work closely with production operators and supervisors to understand manufacturing challenges and implement practical mechanical or process improvements that enhance safety, quality, and production efficiency.
- Identify and implement opportunities for standardization and improvements in electrical fabrication and engineering documentation processes.
- Develop standard work procedures for programming and testing production processes.
Essential Skills
- A 4-year degree in an Electrical Engineering discipline.
- 1+ years' experience in a hands-on engineering production capacity.
- Experience with electrical schematics and system troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Medical device experience.
- Familiarity with manufacturing engineering.
- Experience in a production environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
