Custom Fixture Project Manager

This position involves managing the full lifecycle of custom fixture projects in a dynamic job shop environment. You'll be responsible for:

• Process Oversight: Guiding projects from initial customer quote through to production, including evaluating weld times, estimating initial costs, and analyzing customer drawings.

• Design & Engineering: Creating and revising fixture designs in SolidWorks

• Fixture Management: Overseeing the fixture department, including reviewing and updating drawings, participating in buy-off processes, and ensuring smooth handoff to production.

• Continuous Improvement: Gathering feedback to improve and standardize processes, contributing to lean initiatives, and driving efficiency across the department.

• Leadership: Supervising a small team (2–3 individuals) within the fixture department, providing direction and support

Must Have:

• BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in manufacturing engineering in the following-
• CNC laser, fixture design and welding
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and ERP systems
• Experience in metal fabrication and process improvement
• Project/people leadership experience

Nice to Have:

• Specific experience with laser and press brake
• Project management/Continuous Improvement experience

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $46.00 - $50.00/hr.
