Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

Monitor performance of process parameters to identify non-conforming products, low yields, or quality issues.
Interface with Quality and Engineering Departments to resolve manufacturing production issues.
Collaborate with the Maintenance Team to improve equipment uptime and component longevity through Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Continuous Improvement (CI), and Preventative Maintenance (PM) activities.
Develop technical training and documentation for manufacturing new and existing products.
Plan, specify, select, validate, and implement new equipment, processes, and facilities in manufacturing.
Assist in maintaining ISO Quality Standards plant-wide.
Engage in the identification and resolution of corrective/preventative actions to address safety, quality, technical, and manufacturing issues.

Essential Skills

Degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
Experience with IQMS or similar ERP software.
3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
Experience evaluating, performing root cause analysis, and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.
Proficiency in using CAD, CAM, data analysis programs, or related software.
Knowledge of ISO13485:2016 and FDA 21 CFR part 820 (CGMP).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Six Sigma and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Experience in medical device manufacturing, particularly with ISO standards and injection molding.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
