Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking an outstanding Manufacturing Engineer who possesses superb technical and analytical capabilities, coupled with a proven ability to accomplish tasks efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing 3D and 2D mechanical designs and related analyses specifically for flight-critical avionics systems. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering suitable for both prototype and production-level designs.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D and 2D mechanical designs for flight-critical avionics systems.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting of mechanical and electronic systems.
• Create work instructions and technical documentation.
• Engage in process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Utilize CAD tools such as Solidworks and NX/Unigraphics.
• Contribute to large electromechanical assemblies, NCR, RCA processes.
• Support both development and production programs.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience with integrating, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems.
• 1+ year of experience with CAD tools such as Solidworks or NX/Unigraphics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience from related internships or college organizations.
• Technical writing experience, including work instructions and test plans.
• Familiarity with automated manufacturing processes and material flow systems.
• Knowledge of QTP/ATP, functional testing, and environmental testing.
• Formal training or certification in Operational Excellence Systems (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66.70 - $66.70/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
