Manufacturing Engineer - Assembly
This role involves overseeing the separation of two combined product lines for fuel injectors in Pontiac. The Manufacturing Engineer will take full responsibility for the line, managing the entire process of establishing the new line, including tasks such as torquing and laser marking. A comprehensive understanding of injector testing is advantageous, along with strong APQP experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the separation of combined product lines for fuel injectors.
- Take ownership of the assembly line process, ensuring the new line is operational.
- Perform tasks including torquing and laser marking as part of the assembly process.
- Utilize a good understanding of injector testing to ensure product quality.
- Employ strong APQP experience to optimize assembly processes.

- 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Proficiency in assembly processes.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Assembly experience.
- APQP experience is beneficial.
Work Environment
The role is based in Pontiac and involves working in an assembly environment. The engineer will work with technologies related to torquing and laser marking, and a good understanding of injector testing is beneficial.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
