Lead Controls System Engineer

The Lead Controls System Engineer will be responsible for integrating, automating, and troubleshooting for one of our wide range of customers. They will be primarily modifying code in Rockwell and creating the system, assisting their project from start to finish. While we usually work on one project at a time, there is a chance that we could be tackling two, no more than three projects in a short time frame. Day to day activities include: interfacing with the clients in design meetings and conference calls, working with the project team leading less experienced engineers and taking direction from the project manager or lead engineer, programming controllers with Rockwell and Siemens, designing electrical control cabinets and panels, testing the system configuration to verify functions, travel to client site for project meetings, and travel to client site for system commissioning.

Bachelors degree preferred but two year technical agree minimum - 3-5 years experience with Rockwell - ability to program PLCs from scratch - willing to travel up to 25% - travel will be within 3 hours of Columbus office - most daily travel within 30 minutes

The pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $110,000.00/yr.
