What You'll Do
Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) & Field Engineering
- Conduct daily job walks and field inspections.
- Verify installation of liners, leachate systems, and methane gas systems.
- Perform field and lab testing of soil, geomembranes, and landfill gas components.
- Maintain detailed logs, test results, and compliance records.
- Resolve deviations from project specifications.
General Engineering & Compliance
- Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D for landfill gas system and cap design.
- Manage field data using Excel, AppSheet, and STS portal.
- Ensure compliance with LEA, AQMD, SB 1383 regulations.
- Operate and maintain remediation systems (groundwater, SVE, air sparging, NAPL).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory agencies.
- Host site tours and provide technical expertise to stakeholders.
What You Bring
Must-Have Qualifications
- BS in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Science.
- 2+ years of experience in landfill/CQA or environmental remediation.
- HAZWOPER 8-hour refresher certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver's license and ability to lift 35 lbs and work 10-hour days.
Preferred
- 4+ years in solid waste operations.
- EIT certification.
- Experience with well installation, soil sampling, and hazardous site work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
