Laboratory Support Technician

Join our team as a Laboratory Support Technician, where you will work closely with laboratory personnel to ensure smooth operations. Your role will involve cleaning glassware, managing waste, maintaining inventory, calibrating balances, and equipment maintenance. Additionally, you will assist analysts with various tasks including gathering materials, labeling glassware, preparing solutions, and chemical inventory management.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain laboratory glassware and equipment.
• Manage waste disposal in compliance with laboratory standards.
• Perform daily calibration of balances and maintenance of equipment.
• Assist analysts by gathering materials, labeling glassware, and preparing solutions.
• Conduct monthly checks for chemical and reagent expiration.
• Assist in training in-house Lab Technicians for basic QC testing, including FT-IR.

Essential Skills:

• AS or BS Degree in the Sciences or equivalent experience in a laboratory setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma with laboratory experience is acceptable.
• Basic knowledge of chemistry and biology.
• Experience with QC testing, particularly FT-IR, is a plus.

Work Environment:

This role operates within both an office environment and a laboratory located in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with flexible hours starting at 8 am.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Germantown, WI.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
