Lab Support Specialist

As a Laboratory Technician in Clinical Development Operations, you will support the accurate global distribution of samples to both external and internal customers. This role is integral to the evaluation of North American and Global Development studies, contributing to the new and re-registration of products.

Responsibilities include:

  • Process sample orders via Sample Logistics Applications.
  • Prepare and ship sample orders, attaching appropriate Safety Data Sheets (SDSs).
  • Scan and package each sample order for shipping according to IATA and/or DOT regulations, and file the shipping documents.
  • Assist with international shipments and communicate shipping details.
  • Conduct and reconcile sample inventories, creating Excel inventory reports.
  • Receive packages and maintain accurate records for the Sample Logistics team.
  • Maintain the Certificate of Analysis archive for GLP samples.
  • Oversee the restricted GLP cage area ensuring samples are secured according to GLP regulations.
  • Sub-fill sample containers, adhering to all HSE SDS and site safety policies.
  • Apply FIFRA research sample labels and stickers, scanning samples into inventory.
  • Identify questionable test substances and consult with the Sample Logistics manager.
  • Maintain SDS filing for the Sample Logistics Inventory, retrieving from global databases.
  • Maintain bulk inventory with appropriate labels and place containers on shelves.
  • Assist in ordering, receiving, and organizing supplies for the Sample Logistics team.
  • Comply with all IATA and DOT training requirements.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues with orders and processes to the designated Sample Logistics representative.

Additional skills and qualifications:

  • Logistics experience is a plus.
  • High integrity.

Pay and benefits:

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
