As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will evaluate soil, rock, and underground water to determine the feasibility and design specifications for construction projects. You will be stationed onsite at Offutt Air Force Base to conduct geotechnical analysis and study the conditions of construction sites. The role involves using mapping, GIS, and design expertise to plan and conduct geotechnical explorations effectively.
This role involves working 20% of the time in-office for planning and documentation. The rest of the time will be spent at a commercial construction site, which is a loud and dirty environment. You will be using total stations and Trimble for surveying. A company vehicle will be provided for transport between the office and job site. The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
