Repair Engineer In The Longueuil Region
In this role, the consultant will be responsible for working on substantiation projects for repairs and inspection manuals for engines. Once a project comes in, they will define it, present it to the engineers and to other Repair Engineers who are responsible for entering the changes in the manuals. The projects can either come to him, or he will be responsible for going and getting his own projects. They can manage multiple projects at the same time. To determine the solution, they will also be responsible for analyzing a lot of technical data.
Substantiation projects mean when they will need to do a change in the inspection or repair report, they will need to explain technically why those changes are correct. If the deviations are more than a one-off, this is where it becomes a project that needs to be tackled. Instead of doing one-off approval 5 to 10 times, they will introduce a new solution.
Top Skills:
- Bachelor in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Experience managing multiple projects at the same time and showcasing great organizational skills
- Good mechanical understanding of complex parts (repairs or hands-on experience)
- 1+ year of experience
