Industrial Engineer Technician I

The Industrial Engineer Technician I supports the Industrial Engineering Department in planning, designing, implementing, and managing integrated production and service delivery systems. This role helps ensure performance, reliability, schedule adherence, and cost control within the manufacturing environment. The primary focus of this position is assisting Industrial Engineers with layout and process changes, as well as maintaining and updating data within engineering systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing production areas for line moves or process changes.
  • Update Product-Process-Time databases (IEDB) as directed by Industrial Engineers.
  • Create and update production visuals and documentation.
  • Order, receive, and validate tooling and equipment.
  • Support layout updates and process adjustments in production.
  • Ensure standardization of processes across the site.
  • Maintain accurate data to support process improvements and Lean initiatives.
  • Comply with company safety, quality, and security procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by maintaining strong data integrity.
  • Assist engineering teams with system updates and process documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Understanding of industrial engineering tools such as time studies, process mapping, and workstation design.
  • Strong attention to detail when updating systems and data.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Visio, Microsoft Project, or AutoCAD is preferred.

Work Environment

The role is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that supports production optimization, layout improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives. It is a fully on-site position, Monday through Friday. This position offers a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing company in a hands-on role with a clear growth path to an engineering position.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florence, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
