Civil Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer who can take projects from concept to final completion with occasional supervision. This role involves client interfacing, so professionalism and a consultative approach are essential. The engineer will process plans through city agencies and work on diverse projects ranging from retail, education, energy, government, industrial, recreation, residential, to transportation.

Responsibilities:

• Take projects from concept to final completion with minimal supervision.
• Interface professionally and consultatively with clients.
• Mentor entry level engineers in layout development if in a senior position.
• Process plans through city agencies.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in Civil 3D or Microstation.
• Strong civil background in site design, site plans, stormwater, wastewater, and groundwork.
• Project management skills, especially in taking projects from concept to completion.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Experience with land and site development.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Registration preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant and progressive experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Permanent position based out of Hagerstown, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $90500.00 - $90500.00/yr.
