Perform administrative tasks including inventory management, scheduling, and order placement. Handle physical tasks such as lifting (up to 47 lbs), walking, and breaking down pallets. Maintain storeroom organization and assist with emergency callouts. Manage account codes, finances, and invoices accurately. Source cost-effective chemicals for the lab. Create and maintain spreadsheets for scheduling and assignments (10–15% of role). Use Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Excel) for communication and documentation. Ensure proper order placement and prevent errors by asking questions and clarifying when needed. Adapt to changing priorities, pivot quickly, and communicate effectively. Work in a hands-on environment that is not pristine—requires comfort with physical labor and getting dirty. Approximately 60% labor-intensive tasks. Remaining time focused on administrative and scheduling duties. Inventory experience and familiarity with placing orders. Comfortable with physical work and flexible in handling multiple priorities. Strong communication skills and willingness to ask for help when needed. Ability to work in a dynamic, sometimes messy environment.
