Hardware Engineer - Generalist

Join a dynamic R&D/Product Development team as a Hardware Engineer, focusing on analog and digital hardware development for medical device products. This role involves both conceptual design of embedded systems and assisting with schematic capture and layout.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop analog and digital hardware for medical device products.
  • Engage in conceptual design of embedded systems.
  • Assist with schematic capture and layout when necessary.

Essential Skills:

  • 5+ years of hardware development experience.
  • 5+ years working with microprocessor-based hardware.
  • BSEE or similar degree is preferred.
  • Experience with analog, digital, and embedded systems.
  • 1+ year of regulated experience is preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience with embedded products.
  • Experience in digital and analog electronic device development.
  • Experience taking a device from design to production.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract position based out of SAINT PAUL, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
