Hardware Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Design Engineer to join our team in Fremont. This role involves supporting optical networking products for AI and data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in digital and electrical design, particularly with high-speed interfaces such as PCIe 2.5–5Gbps, 10GbE, embedded processors, FPGAs, and networking hardware. Experience with the person/Allegro or equivalent CAD skills is preferred. This position is critical due to a high workload and project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-speed interface boards.
• Work with embedded processors, FPGAs, and networking hardware.
• Support optical networking products for AI and data center infrastructure.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure timely project completion.

Essential Skills

• Strong digital and electrical design experience.
• Proficiency in high-speed interfaces (PCIe 2.5–5Gbps, 10GbE).
• Experience with embedded processors and FPGAs.
• Networking hardware expertise.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with the person or Allegro CAD tools.
• Background in optical design.
• Relevant experience in networking or high-tech product companies.

Work Environment

The position requires onsite work in Fremont, where you will engage in hands-on hardware design and development.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $225000.00/yr. Medical, Dental, PTO, 401K, Bonuses
