Hardware Design Engineer
We are seeking a hardware design engineer with a focus on power design. You will lead board-level power design and power supplies, overseeing the layout process executed by a team of designers. This role involves working on cutting-edge next-generation firewall products.
Responsibilities
- Lead board-level power design projects.
- Oversee the layout process handled by a team of designers.
- Design power-specific features for PCB, including onboard power, hot swap, DC-DC, and AC/DC.
- Work on routers, servers, switches, and firewalls.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Cadence and Allegro.
- Expertise in DC power, hot swap, and board design.
- Experience with PCB layout and power electronics.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing power-specific features for PCB.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with AC-DC is a plus.
- Automation experience is advantageous.
Work Environment
You will work onsite five days a week with a high-level team. The work schedule offers flexible arrival and departure times.
Job Type & Location
This is a contract position based out of San Jose, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
