Gnc Engineer
As a GNC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in coordinating between customer support and R&D, focusing on feature requests and facilitating bug reporting. You will collect, analyze, and evaluate preliminary data for hardware updates, collaborating with cross-functional teams to contribute to design reviews and system documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate between customer support and R&D to focus on feature requests and facilitate bug reporting.

- Contribute to design reviews and system documentation.
- Analyze and integrate new sensors with a focus on flight control-related sensors such as IMU, GNSS, and pressure sensors.
- Devise integration and sanity checking concepts.
- Develop, implement, and test algorithms for navigation and control systems in line with project requirements.
- Conduct simulation and analysis to verify GNC models and system performance under different operating conditions.
- Improve performance through novel sensor calibration techniques.
Essential Skills:
- Practical experience developing GNC designs for flight systems.
- Experience in writing code in C/C++ or Rust.
- Proficiency with Matlab and Simulink.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- UAV or Robotics experience.
- Exceptional ability or demonstrated history of working on successful projects.
Work Environment:
The work environment includes collaboration with cross-functional teams and involves the use of technologies such as Matlab, Simulink, and project execution tools. The role may involve working with robotics and UAV systems.
Job Type & Location:
This is a contract position based out of Moorpark, California.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $96.00/hr.
