Geotechnical Engineer
A small geotechnical engineering firm in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for an EIT-level candidate who is looking to grow into a project management role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with field testing, including test pits and boring, and be comfortable writing technical reports based on their findings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field testing and data collection for geotechnical investigations
- Write detailed engineering reports based on field data
- Collaborate with team members to manage projects from start to finish
- Perform geotechnical analysis to support engineering decisions
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 2–4 years of geotechnical engineering experience
- Licensed EIT with a goal of obtaining PE
- Ability to provide redacted examples of previously written reports
- Experience in wall design is a plus
- Knowledge of material testing, inspection, and concrete testing

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $47.00/hr.
