FPGA Engineer

Seeking a hands-on engineer to lead FPGA and embedded processor development for advanced hardware systems. This role involves architecture design, implementation, testing, and integration of FPGA and embedded components in real-time applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement FPGA architecture using Verilog or similar HDL.
• Develop and integrate embedded processor systems and custom communication interfaces.
• Perform schematic capture and PCB layout for embedded hardware boards.
• Conduct simulations, timing analysis, and hardware verification.
• Create and execute hardware test plans; support board bring-up and debugging.
• Maintain design documentation and contribute to system-level architecture discussions.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in FPGA and embedded systems development.
• Proficiency in Verilog HDL, digital design, and timing closure.
• Experience with FPGA platforms
• Familiarity with embedded processors and RTOS.
• Knowledge of signal processing techniques and fixed-point implementation.
• Experience with hardware interfaces
• Scripting experience
• Experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $80.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Vancouver, BC.
